It gives my immense pleasure to welcome you all at 3rd Pak Live in Islamabad on March 29-31, 2018. First Pak Live in 2016 in Lahore was a new a beginning for Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology and for Interventional Cardiology in Pakistan. Despite being first one, the meeting set new standards in time management as well as educational and academic content, which were appreciated by everyone. This gave us lot of motivation and encouragement to improve further in 2017 in Karachi, where we added new content including Nurses and Technologist course – First of its kind in Pakistan, high definition seamless International and national Live satellite transmissions from all over the world, Fellows Course and high quality academic talks from renowned national and international experts. The nurses, technologists, cardiology and interventional cardiology trainees and cardiologists from all over Pakistan and abroad again appreciated the educational and academic content very highly. This was only possible with contribution and help from all of you.
I can assure you, that again with the help of all of you, the organizers are working very hard to build up and excel further in 3rd Pak Live in Islamabad. The academic and educational content and value of the meeting as well as the arrangements will match any international conference you have attended. On first day, Fellows Course and Nurse and Technologists Symposium will be the main highlight of the meeting. Complex coronary, peripheral and Structural Heart Disease Interventional cases will be broadcast live from national and international centers by renowned experts over next two days. In addition, problem based academic talks, How to Treat, Best and Worst and Complications Case Sessions will be unique features of the meeting. Time management will be strictly enforced.
I hope that all of you will actively participate in the meeting as this will be a great learning opportunity for not only the trainees, paramedical staff and junior cardiologists but experts as well.

Dear friends and colleagues, Once again we met at Pakistan Live 2017, the official congress of the Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology (PSIC), held in Karachi this year.
It was a great pleasure to be part of this esteemed gathering of cardiologists from all over the country and indeed all over the world.
As the organisers, we hope we were able to bring to our audience a course/workshop that fulfilled their desire for knowledge, to bring exciting new skills and innovations available all over the world to our doorstep – and to show and teach our younger colleagues that our own skillful masters are second to none!
In this journey we have made new friends and met learned people. We hope these individuals will stand with us as we continue to climb the ladder of excellence.
Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology is holding another state of the art interventional meeting in Islamabad on 29th, 30th and 31st March 2018 at Serena Hotel, Islamabad. The meeting will be called “Pakistan Live 2018.”
The objective of the meeting – as always – is to enhance our knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, to learn greater skills, to interact with our colleagues, our fellows and students, and above all, to improve patient care.
This world-class meeting will have collaborations from other national and international societies, along with participation from all over the country as well as abroad. The meeting will include international live transmissions and live cases from renowned operators abroad, as well as outstanding host operators from all over Pakistan.
There will be an even greater focus on the involvement of young interventionists, with emphasis on live interaction of the audience with the galaxy of stars in the cardiology community who will be present. Additional sessions have also been added, including sessions for nurses and technologists.
